JoeAnna’s House
For families travelling to Kelowna so their loved ones can receive treatment at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), JoeAnna’s House provides a vital and loving shelter away from home.
Opened in 2019, this beautiful home-away-from-home was brought to life by the generosity of the community and is fully supported by the KGH Foundation. It offers 20 family rooms, shared kitchen and common areas, laundry and more, because being together in difficult times truly makes a difference.
We’re excited to share that by choosing Tug 6 Coffee Roasters, you can now make each cup count. With every bag you purchase, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to JoeAnna’s House, helping ensure that families remain close when it matters most. Together, we can turn your daily ritual into meaningful support, one brew at a time.
How To Contribute
Share a Meal at JoeAnna's House
The Share a Meal program is an opportunity for Service Groups, Organizations, Individuals, and Companies to volunteer to prepare and serve meals to Guests from within their kitchen.
It helps lessen the stress of preparing a meal, but it also helps offset some of the costs they face when away from home. A home-cooked meal is a wonderful gift to give someone after a long day at the hospital.
This program not only provides a home-cooked meal for Guests, but it also creates a team-building opportunity for groups of all kinds.

Every day, the KGH Foundation relies on volunteers to help ensure our guests have a comfortable stay at JoeAnna’s House.
Are you looking to meet new people? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? Are you interested in giving back in a rewarding environment? If so, then volunteering with JoeAnna’s House is the perfect opportunity for you!
They have morning, mid-day, and late afternoon shifts, available 7-days a week. Looking for individuals 16+ who are able to commit to a minimum of one 2-hour-shift per week.
Shift times include:
Morning – 9:00am – 11:00am
Mid-day – 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Late afternoon – 4:30pm – 6:30pm
